FRSEM App (Harvard Freshman Seminar App) is a single-page web app that optimizes the seminar application process for incoming Harvard freshmen.
FRSEM App's back-end was developed using Flask (Python, Jinja2), and the front-end was designed in the Bootstrap framework with emphasis on streamlined usability and cross-platform responsiveness. It uses the Harvard ‘Crimson’ with a neutral palette to highlight content.
The web app presents information from plain-text Harvard course listings in a searchable and intuitive interface, filtering search by keywords, semester, and existing course conflicts.
Students can input multiple class conflicts with responsive Entry cards.
The web app is cross-platform responsive, allowing students to browse courses wherever they are.
